“Shout out to Jennifer Gilmore…If you have not given your residents the opportunity to experience Jennifer’s new “show” they are missing out. If your residents are like mine, they love to dance! However, I wanted to offer them a change in the usual “Dinner, Dance, Community Night” that would also encourage the single, widowed and spouses who live alone (because their significant other is housed in a medical facility) to come out and join their friends and neighbors for a wonderful Dinner and Show. Her fist performance was her “Broadway” show and I will admit it was a hard sell to fill the dinning room HOWEVER, once the show started I had residence coming out of the bar to get a peak and find out who was singing those “Golden Notes”!!! She has since performed her “Holiday Extravaganza Christmas Show” which included audience participation. She was back this past Friday with her “Timeless Hits” and they can’t get enough of her. She is a full one woman show complete with costume changes, her own sound crew and most importantly an engaged audience personality with a voice that swept them off their feet with standing ovations. So, if you are looking to mix things up a little bit this next season Jennifer won’t let you down…I found the key is all in how I promoted her performance..she took it from there!”
